This robust India Red Ale presents a powerful sensory journey, balancing a deep, generous caramel malt backbone with an aggressive hop profile. At 7.9% ABV, it pushes the boundaries of the American Amber Ale style, offering a rich tapestry of citrus, passionfruit, and tropical fruit notes. The malt provides a sturdy, toasted foundation that carries the intense bitterness through to an extra long, complex finish. Appearance. Deep copper-red to reddish-brown in color; 14-17 SRM. Topped with a moderately large, creamy off-white head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves thick lacing. The clarity is generally quite clear despite the high hop load.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of passionfruit, citrus zest, and tropical mango. This is supported by a moderately-high malt presence characterized by rich caramel, toasted bread, and a hint of dark fruit esters. Fermentation is clean with a slight, well-integrated alcohol note.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of malty sweetness and heavy caramel. This is quickly met by a high hop flavor mirroring the aroma's citrus and tropical character. With a dark red brownish colour, a firm creamy head and lots of fruity aromas on the nose, this ale has a big, malty body with late bitterness.
