This decadent Imperial Stout envelops the senses with an intense, dessert-like profile defined by its rich adjunct additions. The experience is dominated by the nostalgic scent of creamy peanut butter and freshly ground roasted coffee, which integrate seamlessly into a base of dark chocolate and toasted malts. On the palate, the beer is viscous and velvety, offering layers of salty-sweet nuttiness and a robust espresso-like bitterness that counters the high residual sugars. Despite the significant alcohol content, the warmth remains well-integrated, providing a comforting finish that lingers with notes of cocoa nibs, charred grain, and earthy legumes.

Appearance. Opaque, jet black (SRM 40+). Pours with a thick, dense, dark tan to mocha-colored head with moderate retention and an oily sheen indicative of the adjunct additions.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of natural peanut butter and freshly roasted coffee beans. The base malt provides deep notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and slight char. Substantial sweetness like molasses or brown sugar is present, with subtle dark fruit esters like raisin and a soft, clean alcohol warmth.

Taste. Rich and complex; initial impression is sweet and nutty. Strong flavors of bittersweet chocolate and heavy roast are balanced by earthy peanut butter and a concentrated coffee punch. Bitterness is moderate-high, derived from both charred grain and coffee to offset the malty sweetness. The finish is long and lingering, featuring persistent peanut, cocoa, and dark-roast coffee notes.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a thick, mouth-coating creaminess. Carbonation is low to moderate. A noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth is present without being harsh. Very low astringency despite the heavy roast and coffee additions.
