Yippy IPA is a vibrant American IPA characterized by its golden opalescence and a complex hop profile. The aroma is led by zesty lemon and grapefruit notes driven by Cascade, Amarillo, Mosaic, and Citra, while Nugget and Centennial provide a foundational layer of fresh pine spice. The grist, featuring Wheat Malt, Oat Malt, and Vienna Malt, builds a light yet remarkably chewy body that supports the intense fruity and juicy flavors. Despite the hop-forward character, it maintains a subtle, tingling bitterness and a clean finish, balancing bright citrus juiciness with a smooth, lingering resinous quality.

Appearance. Medium gold (6–8 SRM) with a distinct golden opalescence and a slight, persistent haze. Topped by a medium-sized, white head with good persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus zest, specifically lemon and grapefruit, alongside tropical fruit notes. Background notes of fresh pine, resin, and a hint of spice are present. Clean, low grainy-sweet maltiness with no detectable fermentation esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of juicy citrus and tropical fruit. Mid-palate reveals a subtle piney and spicy hop character. The malt profile is supportive and clean, offering a light bready and toasty character from the Vienna and Wheat malts. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, leading to a dry, tingling finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a notable chewy and creamy texture attributed to the Oat and Dextrin malts. Carbonation is moderate to high. No alcohol warmth is detected, resulting in a smooth, crisp, and highly drinkable experience without astringency.
