75 Degrees IPA is a vibrantly expressive Hazy IPA that showcases the synergistic power of Citra and Mosaic hops. Utilizing a lower-temperature whirlpool technique, this beer radiates intense tropical aromas of ripe mango, passionfruit, and sweet citrus zest. The appearance is characteristically opaque with a luminous orange glow and a dense, meringue-like head. On the palate, a soft, bready malt foundation supports a wave of juicy fruit flavors, leading to a smooth, rounded finish with remarkably restrained bitterness. This modern interpretation prioritizes hop saturation and a silky texture, delivering a highly aromatic experience shaped by community-driven passion for tropical fruit profiles.
Appearance. Straw to light amber (approx. 4-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. Pours with a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head featuring excellent retention and substantial lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit notes of mango and passionfruit from the Mosaic hops, complemented by bright citrus bursts of grapefruit and orange from the Citra hops. Background malt is clean, grainy, and lightly bready, with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Massive hop-forward flavor profile featuring layers of pineapple, stone fruit, and citrus zest. The bitterness is low to medium-low and notably soft, never harsh. Malt provides a supportive, bready base that allows the juicy hop character to shine. The finish is off-dry and clean with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth and soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a rounded mouthfeel without any harsh carbonic bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.5% ABV.
