Polly's Brew Co. El Dorado Kölsch Hybrid Lager

Hey, there are some advantages to being a mainly pale and IPA when the summer sun decides to show its face and all of a sudden we need to take advantage with a crisp, thirst quenching beer specifically for the weather. Thanks to its warm fermentation with ale yeast as opposed to traditional lagering with a lager yeast, we’ve been able to turn around a crispy boy just in time for a run of summer scorching weather. Featuring an in-house favourite hop in El Dorado, this hybridised beer is chock full of bright, punchy citrus, watermelon and just a whisper of jelly tot notes, backed up with an underlying bitterness that keeps this one from straying into pale ale territory. Perfect for kicking back in the sun and cracking a can whilst the flags are cracking beneath you.
