Nova Lux presents as a quintessential modern West Coast IPA, radiating with a vibrant hop profile driven by advanced liquid extracts. The aroma is dominated by the bold, resinous pine and floral citrus of Centennial, seamlessly integrated with the sweet mandarin and zesty peel characteristics of Eclipse hops. On the palate, a lean, grainy malt base allows these intense hop flavors to take center stage, leading into a firm, clean bitterness that defines the style. It finishes remarkably dry and crisp, leaving a lingering trail of citrus oils and forest floor notes, embodying the sharp, refreshing clarity expected of an American IPA.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (6-9 SRM). Crystal clear with a brilliant luster. Pours with a medium-sized, frothy white head that exhibits excellent persistence and leaves intricate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Prominent notes of resinous pine, grapefruit pith, and floral blossoms from the Centennial hops, layered with distinct mandarin orange and tropical fruit skin from the Eclipse hops. Malt is low, providing a clean, cracker-like background. Fermentation is very clean.

Taste. Assertive initial bitterness that remains crisp. Strong hop flavors of orange marmalade, pine needles, and lemon zest. The malt presence is low, offering a neutral, grainy support without caramel sweetness. High bitterness is well-balanced by a dry finish. Aftertaste is long and hoppy with a pleasant, lingering resinous quality.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a prickly, refreshing sensation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
