This vibrant Fruit Beer, built on a robust American IPA foundation, offers a sensory journey through a Nordic forest. The addition of juniper berries provides a sharp, resinous pine character that seamlessly blends with citrusy hop notes. Malted rye introduces a distinct grainy spiciness and a crisp backbone, elevating the complex evergreen profile. It pours with a golden hue and a persistent off-white head, delivering an assertive bitterness balanced by a subtle, bready malt sweetness. The finish is dry and lingering, characterized by a refreshing herbal snap and a touch of peppery warmth, perfectly embodying the wild essence of the Forest Series.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (8–12 SRM). Pours with a slight haze and a thick, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity featuring a prominent evergreen and woody character from juniper berries. This is complemented by resinous and citrusy hop notes. The malted rye provides a subtle, peppery spiciness over a clean, bready malt base. Low fruity esters.

Taste. The initial impression is an assertive wave of piney hops and resinous juniper. A moderate malted rye flavor follows, providing a spicy, grainy complexity that balances the bready sweetness. Bitterness is firm and lingering, consistent with a modern IPA. The finish is dry and crisp with an enduring herbal and peppery aftertaste. No harshness from the botanicals.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with moderate-high carbonation that enhances the spicy rye character. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. Smooth overall, with a very slight, pleasant tannic grip from the juniper berries.
