This decadent Imperial Stout pours with the density of motor oil, immediately releasing a dessert-forward bouquet of caramelized bananas and rich toffee. The aroma is a complex tapestry of dark chocolate and roasted malts, underscored by a subtle hint of biscuit crust reminiscent of its banoffee pie inspiration. On the palate, the high alcohol content provides a velvety warmth that carries deep flavors of molasses and ripe fruit. The mouthfeel is incredibly full and luscious, balancing the sweetness of the pastry-inspired profile against a firm, roasty bitterness and a lingering, luxurious finish that highlights the harmony between the roast and the tropical sweetness.

Appearance. SRM 40+; jet black and completely opaque. The beer supports a thick, persistent deep tan head with excellent lacing. High viscosity is evident by the prominent legs formed on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity; a rich blend of overripe banana, caramelized sugar, and toffee. Deep roasted malt notes of espresso and dark chocolate provide a sturdy backbone, accompanied by low earthy hop notes and dark fruit esters like figs.

Taste. Initial impression of sweet, creamy banana and burnt sugar. The mid-palate reveals layers of bittersweet chocolate, black licorice, and toasted malt. Bitterness is firm but balanced by high residual sweetness. The finish is long and warming with a lingering aftertaste of roasted coffee.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the high gravity without being harsh or solventy.
