Appearance. Very pale straw (2-3 SRM). Clarity is slightly hazy with an effervescent character. Features a large, white, dense head with poor retention and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity lactic sourness is dominant, accompanied by moderate fruity esters of tart green apple and lemon candy. Malt character is low, offering a faint biscuity or crackery note. No hop aroma.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean lactic sourness followed by a pronounced Jolly Rancher candy sweetness. Grainy, crackery malt flavor provides a light support. Hop bitterness is undetectable (3-8 IBU context) and there is no hop flavor. The finish is off-dry and sweet rather than bone-dry, with a lingering tart fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with high carbonation. Crisp acidity provides a sharp bite on the tongue. Alcohol presence is negligible at 5% ABV, offering no warmth. No astringency.
