This Brett Beer opens with a vibrant bouquet of NY grown pears, offering floral and sweet orchard notes that intertwine with the signature funk of the Plan Bee house culture. Aromas of sun-dried hay and earthy leather lead into a palate defined by high attenuation and a crisp, bone-dry profile. The inclusion of oak provides a structural backbone, adding subtle woody tannins that complement the pear skin flavors. Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3–5 SRM). Slightly hazy with a persistent, fine-beaded white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh Bartlett pears and floral esters. The house culture contributes a complex rustic funk characterized by wet hay, dusty earth, and a hint of lemon zest. Low cracker-like malt presence with a touch of vanillin from oak aging.
