Pivovar Bubeneč DDH Lager 7 reimagines the classic German Pils with a vibrant, modern twist. The Double Dry Hopped treatment introduces a punchy 'Aloha' character, layering tropical fruit notes over a traditional crisp lager foundation. Brilliantly clear and gold, it opens with a bold aromatic profile where classic herbal spice meets vivid pineapple and passion fruit. The palate follows suit, offering a lean, grainy-sweet malt backbone that supports firm, clean bitterness. The finish is exceptionally dry and refreshing, characterized by a flinty minerality that cleanses the palate, making it a sophisticated, hop-forward interpretation of the style.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (SRM 3), brilliant clarity, with a tall, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with a complex blend of tropical pineapple and mango alongside traditional flowery and spicy notes. Low grainy, doughy malt character with a very clean fermentation profile and no sulfur.
Taste. Initial crisp, grainy-sweet malt flavor is quickly eclipsed by a firm hop bitterness and flavors of tropical fruit and herbal spice. High bitterness persists into the aftertaste. The finish is bone-dry and clean with a subtle minerally, flinty character.
