This dryness, combined with a subtle grainy malt support, makes it a versatile companion for the sharp acidity of ceviche or the deep char of smoked meats, embodying a classic, punchy hop character.
Appearance. Color ranges from medium gold to light copper (approximately 6–10 SRM). Features a medium-sized, off-white head with good persistence and light lacing; clarity is generally clear with only a possible slight haze.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma featuring classic American characteristics of citrus zest, resinous pine, and light floral notes. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background, with a clean fermentation profile and minimal esters.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-dominant with medium-high to high bitterness. Flavors of grapefruit, lemon peel, and pine resin lead, supported by a low, grainy malt presence with a hint of toasted bread.
