This glowing Hazy IPA radiates with a sun-drenched sensory profile driven by the synergy of Mosaic hops and luscious apricot puree. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe stone fruit, bright citrus, and tropical blueberry mingle over a soft, bready backdrop. The inclusion of a velvety oat grist creates a remarkably smooth, pillowy texture that carries succulent flavors of juicy apricot, sweet peach, and subtle pine. A restrained, soft bitterness balances the off-dry, fruit-forward finish, leaving a lingering, juice-like impression of fresh orchards and tropical groves that makes this modern ale exceptionally approachable and deeply refreshing.
Appearance. Deep gold with an orange-amber hue and a luminous, opaque haze. Crowning the pour is a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with outstanding retention and dense, drapery-like lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of fleshy, ripe apricot puree and tropical notes of blueberry, mango, and light citrus from the Mosaic dry-hop. A soft, bready, and grainy-sweet malt presence from the oats supports the hop profile, accompanied by clean, ester-forward fermentation notes of peach and pear.
Taste. An initial impression of luscious, juicy apricot and tropical fruit sweetness. The malt flavor is low to medium, offering a soft, bready oat character. High tropical and stone fruit hop flavors from the Mosaic hops integrate seamlessly with the apricot addition. Bitterness is low to medium-low and softly integrated, balancing the off-dry finish without any harsh, grassy, or resinous astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, pillowy, and smooth texture derived from the oat grist. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated. No raw starch texture, heavy sweetness, or acidic twang is present.
