The Pomona hybrid yeast amplifies the citrus profile, delivering a bouquet of fresh grapefruit alongside lush notes of mango and guava. On the palate, the hop intensity is harmonized by a soft, bready malt backbone. Appearance. Pale straw to light orange (4-6 SRM) with a persistent, dense white meringue-like head and excellent retention. The beer is distinctly hazy and nearly opaque, exhibiting a luminous shine without being murky.
Aroma. Intense tropical fruit and citrus dominance with high intensity. Prominent notes of ripe mango, guava, and ruby grapefruit are supported by esters of stone fruit. The malt character is low, appearing as neutral, clean grain or fresh bread with no caramel notes.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors of mango, guava, and grapefruit. The malt provides a low, soft, bready foundation that balances the juicy hop character. Perceived bitterness is moderate and smooth, leading into an off-dry finish. The aftertaste is clean and fruit-forward with no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess and silky texture derived from flaked oats. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a soft, rounded mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated, with no astringency.
