Cold Koala is a vibrant American IPA that bridges the gap between clean lager precision and assertive New World hopping. Brewed with oats for a silky mouthfeel, it showcases an explosive aromatic profile driven by Strata and Mosaic Cryo hops. Expect a complex bouquet of ripe passionfruit, bright citrus, and wild strawberry, accented by a distinct resinous backbone. The unique use of lager yeast at warmer temperatures ensures a crisp, neutral canvas, allowing the intense hop bitterness to lead into a bone-dry finish. This collaboration delivers a refreshing yet punchy experience, defined by its lean profile and saturated tropical fruit character.

Appearance. Medium gold color (approximately 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, off-white head with good persistence and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passionfruit, citrus, and a distinct strawberry note. A background of resinous pine and blueberry complements a low, clean, grainy malt character. Fermentation is clean and neutral with no significant esters.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of citrus peel, passionfruit, and berry lead the palate. Low grainy-sweet maltiness supports a firm, medium-high bitterness. The fermentation character is exceptionally clean, leading to a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering, hoppy, and slightly resinous aftertaste.
