This refreshing White IPA masterfully bridges the gap between a Belgian Witbier and an American IPA. The sensory profile is defined by a vivid burst of tropical fruit and stone fruit, driven by the intensive use of El Dorado cryo hops. These modern hop notes are elegantly layered over traditional additions of orange peel and coriander, creating a complex citrus and spice bouquet. A base of wheat malt provides a soft, bready foundation and a characteristic hazy glow. It finishes crisp and dry with a firm bitterness, making for a vibrant, high-impact fusion of Old World tradition and New World hop intensity.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (4-6 SRM). Significant haziness from wheat proteins. Large, dense, white head with excellent persistence and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Bright tropical notes of pineapple and mango from El Dorado cryo hops, complemented by fresh orange peel and a subtle floral, peppery hint of coriander. Low bready, grainy wheat malt. Esters are moderate, showing pear and citrus, with no clove-like phenols.
Taste. Leading with vibrant stone fruit and tropical flavors of El Dorado hops. Mid-palate reveals zesty orange and a spicy coriander snap. Malt flavor is low, featuring light bready wheat. Bitterness is firm and clean, balancing the fruity sweetness. Finish is dry and refreshing with a lingering citrus and resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a characteristic creaminess from the wheat. High carbonation provides a prickly, refreshing effervescence. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated. No astringency.
