The sensory profile is dominated by layers of citrus zest, resinous pine, and tropical fruit, all supported by a very low, clean grainy malt presence that avoids any heavy sweetness. True to its modern West Coast roots, the beer delivers a firm, assertive bitterness that leads into an exceptionally dry and crisp finish. At 6.5% ABV, it balances strength with a refreshing character, showcasing the clean, vibrant qualities of a contemporary American IPA.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM); brilliant clarity; medium-sized, persistent white head with fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, resinous pine, and light mango; low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background; clean fermentation profile with no significant esters.
Taste. High hop bitterness; flavors of orange peel, pine needles, and tropical fruit; very low clean, grainy malt flavor; decidedly dry finish with a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste; no harsh bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; medium-high carbonation; smooth texture with very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; crisp and refreshing with no astringency.
