Appearance. Deep dark amber to copper (14–20 SRM). Excellent clarity. Displays a low to moderate, creamy, off-white head with fair retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Medium intensity maltiness featuring prominent notes of caramel, toffee, and toasted biscuits. Low but noticeable pome fruit esters. Hop aroma is very low to absent, with a faint earthy quality. No peat smoke or phenolic character.
Taste. Initial malt sweetness with flavors of toasted bread, caramel overtones, and butterscotch. Hop bitterness is low to moderate, providing just enough structure to balance the malt without becoming dominant. Clean fermentation with light fruity esters. The finish is slightly dry with a faint roasted grain character, preventing a cloying aftertaste.
