PINTA

This Imperial Stout presents a midnight-black pour with a dense, viscous appearance that promises a decadent experience. The sensory profile is dominated by the rich, indulgent influence of Cocoa Nibs, which provide layers of Belgian pralines and dark chocolate. These roasty depths are complemented by a warm, earthy spice from the Cinnamon infusion, melding seamlessly with a malt backbone of toffee and burnt grain. At 10% ABV, the alcohol is well-integrated, providing a gentle glow that enhances the beer’s velvety texture. It is a harmonious marriage of classic roasty intensity and dessert-like complexity, finishing with a lingering, bittersweet chocolate resonance.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+). It supports a dense, deep tan head with moderate retention. Due to the high alcohol and cocoa oils, visible legs are apparent when swirling.

Aroma. Intense and complex. Strong aromas of bittersweet chocolate and cocoa nibs dominate, supported by a distinct, spicy cinnamon note. Beneath the infusions lies a rich base of toffee, coffee-like roast, and dark fruit esters reminiscent of raisins and prunes.

Taste. Rich and assertive. The flavor starts with sweet Belgian praline and dark chocolate from the cocoa nibs, quickly followed by a pleasant cinnamon warmth. Mid-palate reveals roasted malt bitterness and coffee notes. The balance leans toward a bittersweet finish with lingering notes of toffee and spice.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a chewy, luscious, and velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth is present but integrated.
