PINTA’s Jetty is a vibrant American IPA that pays homage to the classic West Coast style with a sharp, refreshing focus. It pours a brilliant gold with a persistent white head. The sensory experience is dominated by an assertive hop profile, delivering punchy notes of resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and subtle tropical undertones. A lean, grainy malt backbone provides a clean canvas, allowing the hops to take center stage without unnecessary sweetness. The palate is defined by a firm, pleasant bitterness and a characteristically dry finish, making it exceptionally drinkable and evocative of a Pacific breeze. The fermentation is clean, ensuring a crisp presentation throughout.
Appearance. Medium gold and brilliant clarity; medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, pine resin, and light floral notes. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation profile is neutral and clean.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of citrus peel and resinous sap. Low, grainy maltiness provides a brief support before a medium-high bitterness takes over. The finish is notably dry and crisp, with a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, creating a lively mouthfeel. Very light, integrated alcohol warmth is present without any harshness.
