This celebratory Hazy IPA showcases the vibrant character of hand-selected Nectaron hops from New Zealand. It pours a luminous, opaque yellow, radiating intense aromas of ripe pineapple, nectarine, and tropical passionfruit. The single-hop focus highlights a lush, juicy profile where stone fruit sweetness meets a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Subtle bready malt notes provide a gentle foundation without distracting from the massive hop-forward character. On the palate, expect a wave of sun-drenched peach and citrus, balanced by a restrained, smooth bitterness. It is a pure expression of New Zealand terroir, delivering a clean, fruit-driven finish that is both refreshing and complex.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3-6 SRM); opaque with a characteristic hazy shine; dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by pineapple, passionfruit, and nectarine. Low, bready-grainy malt in the background. Fruity yeast esters complement the tropical hop character; no DMS or diacetyl.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring peach and tropical citrus. Low, neutral malt presence. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is smooth and never harsh. Finishes off-dry to medium with a lingering juicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. No astringency or harshness; very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
