This West Coast IPA showcases Amarillo hops hand-selected at Yakima Chief Hops, delivering a vibrant sensory experience defined by bright citrus and floral complexity. The aroma opens with an intense punch of zesty orange, grapefruit peel, and a distinct floral perfume. On the palate, the hop-forward profile provides a firm, clean bitterness that cuts through a lean malt base of pale grains. The finish is remarkably dry, accentuating the resinous and citrusy hop oils. Brewed by PINTA to emphasize clarity and punch, this beer embodies the classic American IPA spirit with a sharp, lingering hop-focused aftertaste and a crisp, refreshing quality.

Appearance. Deep gold color (approx. 7 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, white, persistent head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of sweet orange, grapefruit, and floral blossoms. A low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a supportive background. The fermentation profile is clean, with very low fruity esters and no detectable diacetyl.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of citrus zest and light resin dominate from the first sip. Low grainy malt flavor with minimal caramel presence ensures a hop-forward balance. High bitterness that is sharp but clean, leading into a very dry finish. The aftertaste is long and bitter, showcasing the specific floral and citrus character of Amarillo.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop resins. Carbonation is medium-high, contributing to a crisp mouthfeel. A light, smooth alcohol warmth is present, well-integrated for its strength.
