This refreshing American IPA delivers an impressively vibrant hop profile despite its highly sessionable 3.5% ABV. Dominated by the pungent interplay of Columbus, Strata, and Motueka hops, the beer opens with layers of resinous pine, tropical passionfruit, and zesty lime. Designed for peak drinkability, the sensory experience centers on a light, nimble body that carries modern hop intensities without the weight of high alcohol. The use of Strata brings a distinctive strawberry and dank edge, while Motueka contributes a bright citrus snap. It finishes exceptionally clean and dry, showcasing PINTA’s dedication to a solid hop-forward character in a micro-scale format.
Appearance. Pale gold (5 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a medium-sized, white head with good persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent passionfruit, strawberry, and lime notes. A background of resinous pine and light dankness is present. Low grainy maltiness provides a clean, neutral foundation.
Taste. Strong hop flavor following the aroma with tropical fruit and citrus zest. Low, clean, crackery maltiness. Bitterness is medium-high and firm, balanced by the thin frame. Finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a smooth, watery texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the crispness. No alcohol warmth.
