The use of 100% floor-malted Pilsner malt provides a foundational grainy-sweetness and a hint of toasted cracker. PINTA utilizes Magnum hops to establish a clean, firm bitterness that balances the rustic malt depth. The aromatic profile is dominated by the Hallertau Mittelfrüh variety, which delivers elegant and high-intensity floral and herbal notes. It is exceptionally crisp and dry, characterized by a brilliant clarity and a sharp, refreshing finish that exemplifies the style's classic, orthodox roots with refined Noble hop character.
Appearance. Brilliant, pale gold (SRM 3-4) with a thick, creamy, and long-lasting white head that exhibits excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring distinctive flowery and herbal notes from the Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Supporting these are low to medium grainy-sweet, doughy, and lightly toasted malt scents. The fermentation profile is very clean, lacking any fruity esters or diacetyl.
Taste. An initial flash of grainy-sweet malt is rapidly superseded by a medium-high hop bitterness and floral hop flavor. The floor-malted grain provides a rich, cracker-like mid-palate. It finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitterness from the Magnum hops. The balance is firmly bitter, supported by a subtle, honey-like malt presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that creates a crisp, refreshing snap on the tongue. No harshness or astringency, though it possesses a slight minerally sharpness in the finish.
