At 7.5% ABV, it presents an assertive hop profile defined by pungent resin, grapefruit zest, and a classic piney snap typical of American varieties. The clean, grainy malt backbone stays in the background, providing just enough structure to support the intense bitterness without cloying sweetness. Brilliantly clear and carbonated for maximum refreshment, it delivers a lingering, resinous aftertaste that invites another sip, perfectly embodying the bold, hop-forward character expected of the style.
Appearance. Medium gold to light copper (7–9 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a thick, persistent white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma showcasing prominent pine resin, grapefruit rind, and a hint of tropical stone fruit. Low, clean, cracker-like maltiness with a neutral fermentation profile and no detectable esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop bitterness that dominates the palate. Hop flavors follow the aroma with notes of dank resin and citrus peel. The malt flavor is restrained and grainy, leading into a very dry, crisp finish with a long-lingering, hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, resinous texture that transitions into a crisp, medium-high carbonation. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its strength.
