This modern West Coast IPA delivers a brilliant, lean sensory profile defined by its high attenuation and assertive hop-forward character. It pours a bright, pale gold with a persistent white head. The aroma is dominated by high-intensity notes of resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and subtle tropical stone fruit, supported by a neutral, grainy malt backbone. On the palate, a sharp, clean bitterness takes center stage, followed by flavors of citrus peel and resin. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp, emphasizing drinkability without sacrificing its 6.5% strength, delivering a refreshing yet punchy American IPA experience.
Appearance. Pale gold (6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, white, frothy head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus zest, pine resin, and faint tropical fruit. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral base, with a clean fermentation profile and minimal esters.
Taste. Assertive initial hop impression of grapefruit and pine. Low grainy malt flavor supports a medium-high bitterness. The balance is heavily hop-forward with a very dry, crisp finish and a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a lively mouthfeel. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
