PINTA Black Delivery offers a striking sensory contrast, merging the visual depth of a dark ale with the vibrant aromatic profile of a modern American IPA. The nose is dominated by the bold American duo of Simcoe and Idaho 7, yielding intense notes of resinous pine, zesty grapefruit, and ripe stone fruit. These bright hop characters are elegantly supported by a restrained malt backbone, where debittered grains provide soft hints of cocoa and toasted bread without any harsh, burnt ashiness. True to its Specialty IPA roots, this beer remains remarkably dry and bitter, finishing clean with a lingering interplay of tropical hops and subtle roasted malt.

Appearance. Opaque black (38 SRM) with a thick, persistent tan head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves dense lacing. The beer is clear with no yeast turbidity, showing deep mahogany highlights at the edges when held to light.

Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring resinous pine, grapefruit, and apricot from Simcoe and Idaho 7. Supportive low malt notes of dark chocolate and toasted bread are present, with a clean fermentation profile and no detectable esters.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impact of pine and tropical fruit, followed by medium-low malt flavors of cold-brew coffee and unsweetened cocoa. High bitterness (approx. 60-70 IBU context) is firm but smooth. The finish is very dry and crisp, with a clean aftertaste that balances resinous hop oils with a touch of roasted grain.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a slight prickle on the tongue. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.5% ABV, with no malt-derived astringency.
