This Imperial Stout is a decadent sensory achievement, blending the intense roast of Brazilian coffee with the luxurious depth of Ecuadorian and Dominican Republic cocoa nibs. Indonesian coconut and vanilla from Papua New Guinea and Costa Rica create a creamy, tropical sweetness that rounds out the heavy roasted malts. Aged for up to 18 months in Heaven Hill and Wild Turkey Bourbon, Cognac, and Pedro Ximénez barrels, the profile is elevated by layers of toasted oak, spirit warmth, and dark vinous fruit. The result is a complex, harmonious masterpiece where the aggressive bitterness of the style is masterfully balanced by rich, dessert-like adjuncts.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+). Pours with a dense, dark tan to brown head that shows moderate retention. High viscosity is clearly visible through slow-moving legs on the glass walls.

Aroma. High intensity and deeply complex. Dominant notes of freshly roasted coffee and dark chocolate are layered with toasted Indonesian coconut and floral Papua New Guinean vanilla. Secondary notes include bourbon-soaked oak, raisins from the Pedro Ximénez barrels, and a refined Cognac spirit character.
