PINTA Back Ground is a modern reimagining of the American IPA, characterized by its luminous clarity and a leaner, more attenuated profile. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense hop-forward character, emphasizing bright citrus zest and pungent pine resins. A minimal, pale malt backbone provides a clean, grainy foundation that supports the assertive bitterness without adding weight. The fermentation profile remains exceptionally neutral, highlighting the beer's extreme dryness and crispness. Balancing high drinkability with a firm, hop-driven structure, it delivers a punchy West Coast experience that finishes sharply with a lingering, resinous snap and clean, refreshing bitterness.

Appearance. Color is a bright, medium gold (approx 7 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, white, medium-sized head that shows excellent persistence and leaves fine lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, lemon peel, and resinous pine. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness provides a neutral backdrop. Fermentation is clean with no discernible esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply hop-forward with flavors of citrus pith and resin. Malt character is low and crackery, providing just enough support for the medium-high to high bitterness. The finish is very dry and crisp with a clean, lingering hoppy aftertaste. No harshness or heavy caramel flavors are present, maintaining a focused hop profile.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the dry finish. Alcohol presence provides a very light, integrated warmth without being hot.
