This refreshing Berliner Weisse delivers a vibrant sensory experience, blending traditional German wheat beer characteristics with a tropical twist. The grist, composed of 50% lager malt and 50% wheat, provides a delicate foundation of raw bread dough and grainy sweetness. This malt profile is swiftly overtaken by a lip-smackingly sharp lactic acidity that defines the style. A generous addition of juicy pineapple dominates the mid-palate, offering an intense tropical fruitiness that complements the tart, lemony esters. It finishes exceptionally dry and crisp, with a high level of carbonation that cleanses the palate, leaving a lingering, bright acidity.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold in color with a noticeable haze from the fruit addition and high wheat content. It features a large, dense white head that dissipates quickly, accompanied by high effervescence and fine bubbles.

Aroma. High intensity of sharp lactic sourness and vibrant, fresh pineapple. Beneath the fruit, subtle notes of raw bread dough and sourdough from the wheat are present. There is no hop aroma or fermentation funk, maintaining a clean, fruit-forward profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a bracing, clean lactic tartness. The flavor is dominated by juicy pineapple, which melds with the acidic base to suggest tart tropical citrus.
