This American Amber Ale presents a vibrant sensory balance, merging a sturdy, biscuity malt backbone with a modern hop profile. The use of Enigma and Mosaic hops introduces a layered complexity of resinous pine, stone fruit, and delicate berry notes that float above a core of toasted caramel. While the initial impression is one of malty richness, the transition into a firm, clean bitterness ensures a refreshing experience. The finish is notably dry and delicately fruity, leaving a lingering impression of pine and toasted grain. It is a well-structured example of the style, offering both depth and drinkability.

Appearance. Deep copper to reddish-amber (13-16 SRM) with excellent clarity. Pours with a moderately large, off-white head that demonstrates good retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a complex blend of toasted, biscuity malt and caramel sweetness. The hop character is distinct, offering notes of resinous pine, tropical fruit, and dark berries derived from the Mosaic and Enigma additions. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial malt sweetness provides flavors of toasted bread and light caramel. This is quickly balanced by a moderate to high hop bitterness and flavors of pine, stone fruit, and melon. The mid-palate maintains a biscuity grain focus without any roasted harshness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering hop resin and delicate fruitiness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a prickly mouthfeel that enhances the dry finish. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
