This assertive West-Coast Double IPA leads with an explosive sensory profile, driven by a massive double dry-hop addition featuring Galaxy, Columbus, and Strata. Intensely aromatic, it radiates pungent notes of passionfruit and grapefruit paired with deep, resinous dankness and a subtle hint of strawberry. Despite its 8.1% ABV, the beer maintains high drinkability through a lean malt spine and a crisp, dry finish. Bracing bitterness provides a firm foundation for the tropical and pine-heavy flavors, while a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth rounds out the experience, epitomizing the bold, clean character of the modern Double IPA style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (7-9 SRM) with slight haze from the heavy dry-hop load. Features a moderate, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by resinous pine, herbal dankness, and pungent citrus. Strong notes of passionfruit, peach, and a unique berry-like sweetness emerge. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light grainy background. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impact with high bitterness that remains clean rather than harsh. Complex flavors of grapefruit zest and resin (Columbus) blend with tropical passionfruit (Galaxy) and a dank, herbal berry character (Strata). Malt is low and supportive with a soft, crackery quality. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, bitter hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high. A moderate, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but lacks any solventy harshness. No hop-derived astringency.
