This modern Hazy Pale Ale delivers an evocative sensory experience driven by a trio of powerhouse hops. Citra and Mosaic unleash bold waves of tangerine and tropical mango, while Sabro introduces a distinctively smooth, creamy coconut undertone. The addition of Cascara coffee cherry provides a creative twist, contributing a subtle berry-like tartness and a whisper of earthy depth that grounds the bright fruit profile. Balanced by a soft, grainy malt backbone, Eny b finishes with a refreshing haze and clean fermentation. It is an experimental take on the American Pale Ale that prioritizes juicy aromatics over aggressive bitterness.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4-6 SRM). Pours with a thick, persistent white head and delicate lacing. Characteristic haze provides an opaque, juice-like appearance.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics. Dominant tropical fruit (mango, papaya) and citrus (tangerine) from Citra and Mosaic. Sabro provides a unique coconut and stone fruit note. A light berry tartness and faint earthy spice from Cascara are present. Malt is low and neutral, offering a simple doughy support.
Taste. Initial burst of juicy tangerine and tropical fruit. Mid-palate reveals creamy coconut and a touch of red berry tartness from the Cascara. Hop bitterness is moderate, providing enough structure to balance the soft malt without lingering harshly. Earthy undertones emerge in the finish. Clean fermentation profile with a dry to medium-dry, fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, pillowy texture enhanced by the haze. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. Smooth finish with no perceived astringency.
