Taste. Strong roasted flavors of coffee and bittersweet chocolate lead the profile. Medium-high bitterness balances a light caramel malt sweetness and the smooth, rounding presence of vanilla. The finish is moderately dry with a persistent roasted grain aftertaste and very low citrusy hop flavor.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp lift that prevents the roasted character from becoming heavy or acrid. Minimal alcohol warmth due to the moderate strength.
