This decadent Imperial Porter offers a lush sensory experience, deeply influenced by its infusion of Tugboat coffee and authentic stroopwafels. The aroma is dominated by rich, freshly roasted coffee beans and a complex layer of dark caramel and warm cinnamon. On the palate, the beer delivers a dense, velvety sweetness reminiscent of toasted wafer and brown sugar, balanced by the assertive roasted malt bitterness of the base porter style. Each sip reveals a harmonious blend of dark chocolate, spiced molasses, and a subtle earthy roast, culminating in a warming, luxurious finish that perfectly captures the indulgent spirit of the Dutch treat.

Appearance. Opaque, near-black (SRM 40) with a thick, dense, dark tan head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves a lingering oily lace on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring prominent freshly ground Tugboat coffee with nutty undertones. Layered beneath are strong notes of cinnamon, caramel, and vanilla from the stroopwafels, supported by a base of dark chocolate and roasted malt.
