This Double IPA is a high-definition sensory experience, showcasing a saturated hop profile born from a collaboration between Phase Three and Other Half. A heavy hand of Citra delivers foundational layers of bright orange and sweet mango, while significant additions of Motueka and Nelson Sauvin introduce vibrant bursts of fresh lime zest, crushed white grape, and gooseberry. The malt profile remains intentionally lean and unobtrusive, providing a neutral stage for the hops to shine. Characterized by a drier finish than typical regional examples, it remains remarkably drinkable despite its strength, offering a crisp, clean conclusion that emphasizes hop resin and tropical fruit.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a persistent, creamy white head that leaves significant lacing. Exhibits a modern haze with moderate opacity.

Aroma. Intense and complex hop-forward nose. Primary notes of lime, passion fruit, and grapefruit dominate, complemented by a signature white wine and elderflower character. Fermentation is clean with a very low, neutral grainy malt presence in the background.

Taste. Immediate impact of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors of tangerine and lime pith are prominent, followed by a nuanced vinous character and gooseberry. Bitterness is firm but smooth, balancing a minimal bready malt backbone. The finish is notably dry and clean, accentuating a lingering resinous hop aftertaste without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a crispness that supports the dry finish. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but smooth.
