Road Rage presents a striking contrast between its deep, dark-hued malt base and an explosive hop profile. The use of Citra and Mosaic delivers an immediate punch of mango, blueberry, and zesty grapefruit, while Simcoe adds a grounding layer of resinous pine and forest woodiness. Nelson provides a distinctive top note of white grape and crushed gooseberry, cutting through the subtle, toasty undertones of chocolate and light coffee. This Specialty IPA maintains a lean, drinkable body with a dry, bitter finish that highlights the complex oils of its four-hop blend without being weighed down by heavy roast or acridity.

Appearance. Deep dark brown to near-black in color (32 SRM) with high clarity. It supports a persistent, frothy, light tan head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical pineapple, earthy berries, and pungent passionfruit. Simcoe contributes a sharp, resinous woodiness, while Nelson adds a vinous quality. The malt is understated, providing low-level notes of milk chocolate and roasted grain with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-dominant, showcasing citrus peel and stone fruit flavors followed by a firm, resinous bitterness.
