Moguls is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer born from a collaboration between Phantom and Little Monster. This sour IPA highlights the unique profile of Alora hops, which deliver luscious notes of peach, apricot, and melon. These stone fruit qualities are sharpened by the addition of yuzu, providing a bright, floral citrus acidity that defines the sensory experience. The wild fermentation introduces a refreshing tartness that cuts through the tropical hop character. Expect a crisp, dry profile where the citrus-forward zest of yuzu harmonizes with the complex esters of a wild ale, finishing with a lingering, puckering brightness and a clean, fruity snap.

Appearance. SRM 3–5. Pale gold to light yellow with a persistent hazy glow. Pours with a moderate white head that shows fair retention, leaving light lacing as the acidity settles.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics featuring sharp, floral yuzu citrus and zest. Prominent hop character from Alora brings layers of peach, apricot, and sweet melon. A clean lactic tartness is present, backed by subtle funky esters and a neutral, cracker-like malt base.

Taste. Initial impression is a bright, refreshing tartness. Strong flavors of yuzu juice and pith dominate the mid-palate, complemented by the stone fruit and tropical notes of Alora hops. Low-moderate bitterness that is partially masked by the acidity. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering citrus zest aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a sharp, crisp texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a prickly sensation on the tongue. Very low alcohol warmth; no significant astringency despite the citrus and hop load.
