Perspective Microbrasserie Psyonic
This modern West Coast Pilsner bridges traditional German Pils brewing with bold American hop character. A clean, crackery malt base provides the canvas for an assertive hop profile featuring Citra, Strata, and Columbus Cryo. The nose is dominated by pungent cannabis and bright citrus notes. On the palate, resinous dankness and grapefruit zest surge forward, supported by a moderate, clean bitterness that cuts through the light body. Exceptionally crisp and refreshing, it finishes bone-dry with a lingering essence of pine and citrus, maintaining the elegant drinkability of a lager while delivering the aromatic punch typical of West Coast styles.
Appearance. Brilliant pale gold (SRM 3) with a thick, long-lasting, frothy white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderately-high intensity featuring pungent, dank cannabis and resinous pine from Strata and Columbus Cryo, layered over bright lime and grapefruit zest from Citra. Low grainy-sweet malt and a very clean fermentation profile provide a neutral backdrop.
Taste. Initial light, grainy-cracker malt flavor is quickly overtaken by a bold wave of resinous dankness and citrus peel. Bitterness is firm and assertive, balanced by a lean body. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean hop bitterness and a touch of resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation, creating a refreshing, prickly sensation. No alcohol warmth; finishes smooth and highly attenuated with a sharp, clean snap.

Nous avons fait une belle recette de pils, bien houblonnée à chaud avec du Citra et accompagné d’un beau dry gros dry-hop de Strata et Columbus Cryo. Au nez, c’est cannabis et agrumes. En bouche, on est sur des notes de cannabis résineuse et une belle touche agrumée avec le tout soutenu par une amertume modérée. C’est frais, léger et bien crisp comme une pils devrait l’être. On trouve que c’est un superbe style à découvrir et on espère que vous allez l’apprécié tout autant que nous! Cheers!
