Perła Miodowa

Perla Miodowa is a honey-flavoured beer from Polish brewery, Perla (previously Browary Lubelskie). Founded in 1844, the brewery sits on the ruins of a monastery and began brewing a Helles-style beer using bottom fermenting technology in 1846. It later opened a second brewery in 1914 and Perla is now the country’s biggest independent beer brand. The newest of Perla’s beers, Miodowa is a light honey beer with an ABV of 6%. Naturally cloudy, it pours a deep amber colour with a long-lasting, light-cream foam. The beer owes its unique aroma and taste to a mixture of the characteristic bitterness well-beloved by Perla Chmielowa fans and delicate sweetness of the multi-flower honeys from the Lublin region.
