A bold collaboration featuring Citra, Galaxy, and the vibrant Superdelic hop, it delivers an explosion of tropical passion fruit, bright citrus, and distinct red fruit candy notes. At 7.2% ABV, it maintains a dangerously drinkable quality through a lean, grainy malt base and a crisp, assertive bitterness. The sensory experience is defined by these modern New World aromatics, yet it stays rooted in the style's tradition with a clean fermentation profile and a dry, lingering finish that invites another sip of this powerful, hop-forward ale.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (SRM 6-10). Topped with a medium-sized white head showing good persistence and light lacing. Generally clear, though a light, modern haze is present.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passion fruit, grapefruit, and a distinct berry-like candy note from the Superdelic hops. Low grainy malt sweetness provides a clean backdrop, with no significant yeast esters or phenols.
Taste. High hop flavors of peach, lime, and red fruit lead into a medium-high to high bitterness. A very light, clean, toasted malt character supports the hops without adding weight. The finish is medium-dry and crisp, with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the heavy hopping. Moderate carbonation and a light, smooth alcohol warmth that is well-integrated given the strength. No astringency.
