This Double IPA presents a vivid sensory journey defined by the interplay of experimental hop varieties. HBC 692 leads the charge with an intense, bright orange citrus character, while HBC 472 introduces a unique tropical complexity, notably a delicate hint of coconut. The aroma is saturated with these fruity hop expressions, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the hop profile to remain the focal point. On the palate, the experience is silky and balanced, delivering a firm but smooth bitterness that transitions into a dry, refreshing finish. It is a modern, high-impact ale that balances its 8% strength with remarkable drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a slight, modern haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with good lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet dominated by fresh orange zest and tangerine. Distinctive secondary notes of coconut and tropical melon from the HBC 472 and HBC 692 hops. Background malt is neutral and clean with a hint of grainy sweetness. Fermentation is clean with no solventy alcohol.

Taste. Initial punch of citrusy orange followed by tropical fruit and subtle coconut flavors. High hop bitterness is present but well-integrated and smooth. The malt provides a soft, supportive platform without caramel or toast heaviness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
