Sundog is a vibrant New Zealand-influenced take on a German Pils, pouring a brilliant straw gold with a persistent, creamy white head. The sensory profile is defined by a high intensity of New Zealand hops, delivering vivid passionfruit and crisp white wine notes over a delicate base of grainy-sweet malt and toasted crackers. On the palate, a clean lager fermentation allows the tropical hop character to shine before a firm, medium-high bitterness takes hold. The finish is remarkably dry and bright, with a flinty mineral quality that cleanses the palate, leaving a lingering trail of tropical fruit and crisp, refreshing bitterness.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM); brilliant clarity; creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderately-high hop intensity featuring vivid passionfruit and white wine notes from New Zealand hops, layered over low grainy-sweet and doughy malt with a hint of honey; clean lager fermentation profile without esters.

Taste. Initial grainy-sweet malt flavor is quickly overcome by prominent hop flavors of passionfruit and gooseberry; medium-high bitterness provides a sharp, clean balance; finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering minerality and hop-driven tropical notes.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation providing a lively, bright sensation; no alcohol warmth; crisp and refreshing with a slight flinty sharpness on the finish.
