This decadent Imperial Stout offers a luxurious sensory experience shaped by three years of aging in Rabbit Hole Bourbon barrels. The extended maturation develops a profound base of vanilla and caramel, harmonizing with deep woodland oak essences. The addition of milk chocolate provides a creamy, confectionery richness, while toasted marshmallow adds a gooey, scorched-sugar sweetness reminiscent of a gourmet holiday treat. Expect an intense profile of bittersweet cocoa and charred grain, softened by the barrel's spirituous warmth and smooth, dark fruit esters. The result is a harmonious, dessert-forward stout that balances massive roasted malt depth with a velvety, candy-like finish.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate to low retention due to the high alcohol content, leaving visible oily legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity and deeply complex. Dominant scents of rich milk chocolate and scorched marshmallow mingle with barrel-derived notes of spicy oak, vanilla, and caramel. Underneath, a robust roasted malt backbone provides hints of espresso and black licorice, accompanied by light dark fruit esters like raisin and prune.

Taste. The initial impression is powerfully sweet and rich, leading with milk chocolate and marshmallow fluff. This is balanced by a firm, roasted bitterness and charred grain character typical of the style. The middle palate reveals complex bourbon influence—toasted oak and burnt sugar—intertwined with significant alcohol warmth.
