Ghost In the Machine is an intense Double IPA that pushes the boundaries of hop saturation. This modern interpretation offers a vibrant, sensory-forward experience defined by a massive explosion of tropical fruit and citrus. It pours a glowing gold with a soft, inviting haze that hints at its lush texture. The palate is dominated by layers of resinous pine and ripe stone fruit, supported by a clean, unobtrusive malt backbone that allows the hops to remain the undisputed protagonist. It finishes remarkably smooth and dry for its strength, delivering a lingering, sophisticated bitterness that invites another sip into the future of brewing.
Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange with a persistent, creamy, off-white head that leaves dense lacing. Features a characteristic hazy to opaque clarity common in modern interpretations.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, mango, and pineapple, with a subtle resinous pine undertone. Malt is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy background that supports a lightly fruity fermentation profile without any solventy alcohol.
