The pour is opaque and radiant, carrying a soft, bready malt foundation that allows the hop intensity to shine. On the palate, the fruit-forward character is balanced by a smooth, pillowy texture and a lingering citrusy finish, reflecting a modern, juicy interpretation of the style with significant complexity and depth.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold with a distinct, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Supports a medium-high, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with a complex mix of dank resin, ripe passion fruit, and mixed berries. Secondary notes of mango, lime, and grapefruit zest are prominent, supported by a subtle herbal and piney undertone. Low, neutral, bready malt character remains in the background.
Taste. High hop flavor of tropical mango, grapefruit, and sweet berries. The mid-palate features a notable dankness and herbal spice. Malt is low and bready, providing a soft platform for the hops. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never harsh. Finishes off-dry with a lingering, pleasant citrus and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Free from astringency or harshness, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
