Electric Pineapple is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that captures a tropical essence through a sharp, zesty lens. Built upon a tart sour base, the sensory experience is dominated by the lush, sun-ripened character of pineapple puree and pineapple juice, which provide a succulent fruit depth. This is balanced by a punchy, citric zing from fresh lime juice, elevating the acidity and brightening the palate. While the fermentation is clean and acidic, the oodles of fruit contribute a juicy, mouth-watering quality. The result is a highly refreshing, island-inspired ale where tropical sweetness and citrus zest dance over a crisp, effervescent finish.
Appearance. Pours a pale golden to straw hue with a distinct yellow tint from the pineapple additions; appearance is hazy to opaque. The white head is thin with poor retention and minimal lacing, which is typical for acidic fruit-forward beers.
