Tähesadu presents a celestial array of hop aromatics, showcasing a masterful blend of Riwaka, Vic Secret, and Citra. The nose is greeted by an explosive bouquet of diesel-tinged passion fruit and sharp pineapple, underpinned by layers of bright grapefruit zest. As a robust Double IPA, the palate is dominated by high bitterness that remains remarkably smooth, carrying flavors of mango and resinous pine over a clean, lean malt foundation. Its significant strength manifests as a refined, warming glow, culminating in a dry, crisp finish that invites another sip despite its intensity. This is a bold, modern expression of the style, emphasizing fruit-forward complexity and high drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a slight hop haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by tropical passion fruit, resinous pine, and bright citrus. A supportive, neutral grainy maltiness sits in the background, accompanied by light fruity esters and a clean, noticeable alcohol warmth that avoids being solventy.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, and mango dominate from the start. Bitterness is very high but smooth, avoiding harshness. The malt character is low and clean, providing a soft backdrop for the hops. It finishes medium-dry with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste and a smooth alcohol presence.
