Siksak is an expressive Double IPA that masterfully balances high-intensity hops with a soft, inviting texture. The interplay of Enigma and Strata hops creates a vibrant sensory profile, bursting with saturated notes of ripe peach, tangy passionfruit, and a hint of crushed berries. While the 8% ABV provides a gentle, well-integrated warmth, the beer remains focused on its hop-forward identity. A clean, neutral malt base allows the complex tropical fruit layers to shine, leading into a crisp, dry finish. It avoids the heaviness of a barleywine, maintaining the high drinkability and firm, clean bitterness characteristic of a modern, juicy interpretation of the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (6–9 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with fine-textured lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-driven bouquet. Strong notes of passionfruit and stone fruit (peach) dominate, complemented by subtle red berry and resinous undertones from the Enigma and Strata hops. Malt is neutral and supportive, offering a light grainy sweetness without caramel interference.

Taste. The initial impression is a wave of tropical fruit, specifically ripe peach and passionfruit. Malt flavor is low and clean, providing a soft platform for the intense hop character. Bitterness is firm and high but lacks any harshness. The finish is dry to medium-dry, leaving a lingering, pleasant citrus and berry aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture that enhances the juicy perception. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle. A light, refined alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency.
