Pühaste Pulss delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a powerhouse combination of Nectaron, NZ Cascade, and Motueka. This Double IPA showcases the impact of Amplifire hop oils and double dry-hopping, resulting in a punchy bouquet of passionfruit and peach from Nectaron, alongside the citrus notes of NZ Cascade and zesty lime from Motueka. The sensory profile is built upon a lean, neutral malt base that allows these vibrant New Zealand hops to take center stage. Expect a clean fermentation character and a finish that is exceptionally dry with a lingering, firm bitterness and resinous depth.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head and good lacing. Features a slight haze consistent with heavy dry-hopping.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by tropical passionfruit and stone fruit from Nectaron. NZ Cascade contributes citrus and floral notes, while Motueka provides a distinct lime zest character. Malt is very low and neutral. No significant esters.
Taste. Initial burst of peach, pineapple, and lime. Low, clean, grainy malt provides minimal support. Bitterness is high and firm but remains smooth without harshness. The finish is dry and crisp with a long-lasting resinous and citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture. Carbonation is moderate to high. A light, clean alcohol warmth is present, and there is no hop-derived astringency.
